Job summary

Britvic in Ireland is seeking a Production Operative to support a growing manufacturing team on an 18‑month fixed term contract. You will operate equipment, perform maintenance tasks, and drive quality checks to ensure product standards.

Role overview

Join our growing manufacturing team as a Production Operative where you will play a vital role in achieving quality standards and contributing to site performance through effective equipment operation and maintenance. You will drive continuous improvement using structured approaches, including root‑cause problem solving and lean manufacturing techniques. What you’ll be doing:

• Operating equipment according to best practices while complying with health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Providing comprehensive production service across the site, including operating plant, performing maintenance schedules, and responding to breakdowns.
• Monitoring production lines and conducting quality checks to ensure products meet established standards.
• Performing necessary quality assurance analysis and updating information systems in a timely manner.
• Actively participating in continuous improvement initiatives and applying new skills to drive operational excellence.
• Developing and maintaining world‑class performance standards using agreed KPIs, including overall equipment effectiveness.

• Ideally direct manufacturing operational experience in a fast‑paced consumer goods environment.
• Working knowledge of SAP and EWM systems.
• Sound understanding of manufacturing processes and HSE applications.

Education/Qualifications

• Leaving Certificate or equivalent.
