Job summary

Flex seeks a Production Coordinator for the Dundalk site, focusing on safe production, Baseplate Assembly and Electrical Test leadership. You will drive delivery, quality and efficiency by collaborating across teams and mentoring staff in a fast-paced environment.

Strong Lean/Six Sigma and IT skills are essential. The role requires a bachelor’s in engineering and 3+ years in manufacturing with 2–3 years in management, plus excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience).
• At least 3 years’ experience in a medium/high-volume manufacturing environment.
• 2–3 years in a management role, thriving in fast-paced settings.
• Strong IT skills, especially MS Excel, Word, and Project.
• Excellent people skills with ability to engage senior/middle management.
• Adaptability and problem-solving mindset; IR environment experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Health & Safety compliance and maintain a safe production environment.
• Manage the Baseplate Assembly Area and Electrical Test Team operations.
• Collaborate with Production Management to meet delivery timelines, quality, and efficiency targets.
• Investigate and resolve quality issues; implement corrective and preventive measures.
• Support new product introductions and ensure compliance with quality and regulatory standards.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean/Six Sigma tools.
• Plan, organize, and delegate tasks; provide guidance, training, and development for team members.
• Liaise with vendors, customers, and internal teams on quality and process improvements.
• Oversee testing processes, equipment calibration, and standardization of procedures.
• Monitor performance metrics and ensure validated products before customer delivery.
