Job summary

Google is hiring a Product Technology Manager to bridge Retail tech with Google's commerce platforms. You will guide pilots, author integration tooling, and work with global teams to harden onboarding rails across 35k+ ecosystem integrations.

You will partner with Product, Core Engineering and global partner teams to drive 0-to-1 incubation and 1-to-N scaling of Google's commerce products in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, CS or related field or equivalent practical experience.
• 3 years in computer engineering, software development, or building technical tools with coding.
• 3 years in a consulting, partner engineering or client-facing technical role.
• 3 years in operations management (process improvement, reviews).
• Experience with HTTP/REST, JSON and programming languages listed.

Responsibilities

• Act as technical lead for early-stage retailer pilots in EMEA.
• Develop code samples, tools, and integration recipes to speed testing.
• Provide high-touch tech expertise, troubleshooting, and SLA-driven support.
• Collaborate with Core Engineering and Product teams across multiple regions.
• Synthesize feedback to advocate for product improvements with data.
