Job summary

RWS is hiring a Product Designer to own the end-to-end experience for a platform that sources, manages, and pays a verified panel of linguists and domain experts. You’ll shape problems with product and engineering from day one and work with an engineering team that ships end to end using agentic tooling.

You’ll apply AI-assisted design tools to turn rough ideas into tested, shippable interfaces quickly, while maintaining a scalable design system and guiding the UX for complex workflows.

Qualifications

• Experience owning full product design workflows from research to final implementation.
• Ability to design for both external users and internal operational tools with emphasis on usability.
• Hands-on with AI-assisted design or prototyping tools; able to learn quickly.

Responsibilities

• Own design end to end across vendor-facing and internal surfaces, including research, flows, UI, and details for high-volume use.
• Collaborate with product and engineering from problem shaping to shipped features.
• Use AI-assisted design and prototyping tools to move ideas to tested designs quickly.
• Conduct lightweight user research and testing to inform direction.
• Build and maintain a design system that scales with the product and team.
• Provide engineering with enough clarity to implement features without pixel-perfect specs.

Job Purpose

We're hiring a Product Designer to own the end-to-end experience for a platform that sources, manages, and pays our verified expert pool of linguists and domain specialists, from the vendor-facing side to the internal tools our own teams use to run it. You won't be a downstream resource picking up specs, you'll be in the room from the start: shaping the problem alongside product and engineering, not just the screens at the end of it. You'll work alongside an engineering team that ships product end to end using agentic coding tools as their default workflow. You're expected to keep pace: using AI-assisted design tools in your own process, and turning rough ideas into tested, shippable interfaces quickly.

Responsibilities

• Own design end to end across the platform's vendor-facing and internal surfaces: research, flows, UI, and the details that make it actually usable at volume.
• Work directly with product and engineering from the start of a problem, not just at handoff, shaping what gets built, not only how it looks.
• Use AI-assisted design and prototyping tools as part of your default workflow to move from idea to tested design fast.
• Run lightweight user research and testing yourself; use what you learn to argue for or against a direction.
• Build and maintain a design system that holds up as the product and team grow.
• Give engineering enough clarity to build confidently without needing pixel‑perfect specs for everything.

Requirements

• Product design experience owning full workflows, not just individual screens or a single feature.
• Comfortable designing for both external, non-technical users and internal operational tools, the bar for both is real usability, not just polish.
• Hands‑on with AI‑assisted design or prototyping tools, or clear evidence you'll pick them up fast.
• Strong instincts for when to move fast with a rough version versus when to slow down and get it right.
• Comfortable working directly with engineers and product, without a lot of process between you and a shipped feature.

Nice to have

• Experience designing for workforce, recruitment, or marketplace‑style platforms.
• Some front‑end familiarity, enough to know what's cheap versus expensive to build.
• Experience on a small team where you owned design end to end, not just a slice of it.
