Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Product Designer to own end-to-end design for Omni and the DevOps agent experience. You’ll collaborate with PMs and engineers to shape how engineers discover, investigate, and resolve issues with AI-assisted tools.

You’ll work with senior designers, contribute to the design system, and base decisions on usability data and telemetry. This role sits within AWS Observability and requires strong craft and a track record of shipped interfaces.

Qualifications

• Experience in design and delivering design solutions as a UX or interaction designer.
• Online portfolio demonstrating your process and final work.
• Prototyping skills using HTML, XHTML, JavaScript, CSS, and related tools.

Responsibilities

• Own the design of features within Omni and the DevOps agent experience from exploration to ship, with guidance.
• Make complex telemetry and agent activity legible for engineers to reason about.
• Design for an AI-assisted workflow while keeping humans in control of decisions.
• Partner with PM and engineering to define problems and iterate quickly from input.
• Build prototypes that communicate intent clearly and move conversations forward.
• Incorporate usability testing, customer sessions, and telemetry into design decisions.
• Contribute to the shared design system and extend existing patterns.
