Job summary

Recruitment Plus is seeking a Procurement Manager for the South Dublin region. The role combines Head Office duties with travel on a proportional basis, requiring a full Irish driving licence and strong supplier relations.

• Qualification in Purchasing / Supply Chain Management.
• 3-5 years of experience in motor industry.
• 3+ years experience in Procurement.
• Proven track record negotiating agreements.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate, prepare and execute comprehensive SLAs with commercial terms with KPI deliverable with all suppliers.
• Responsible for keeping Supplier Contract and Contact database updated.
• Establish, manage and continuously develop relationship with suppliers.
• Schedule and manage quarterly review meetings with Key suppliers and stakeholders with minutes and follow up action points.
• Compile statistics on purchasing and monitor bonuses, volumes and financial targets.
• Ensure continuous focus on efficiency and cost effectiveness identifying target areas.
• Responsible for ensuring that KYS processes & policies are adhered to.
• Work according to the group and local procurement guidelines.
• Research the marketplace for appropriate potential partners for a range of services for the company.
• Work with the Relationship Manager in relation to any Supplier issues.
• Be the contact person for Global Procurement.
• Ensure regular meetings and telephone contact with suppliers to ensure good relationships.
• Develop purchasing strategies and policies based on the needs of the business.

Procurement Manager South Dublin

This role will involve working both within Head Office in South Dublin and being on the road on a proportional basis. Full Irish Drivers Licence required.

This role is a key position within the team working closely with and building and managing excellent relationships with Manufacturers and Key Partners to ensure the business can deliver best in class solutions to its customers. The successful candidate will negotiate commercial terms and service level agreements with all partners and suppliers and will liaise and ensure collaboration with internal business partners to understand their needs.

Skills and Experience

• Qualification in Purchasing / Supply Chain Management
• 3-5 years of experience in the motor industry
• 3+ years experience in Procurement
• Proven track record in similar role
• In-depth knowledge of and experience in negotiations and concluding of agreements
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Experience with Supplier Relationship management and process Implementation
• Excellent communication, writing, reporting and presentation skills
• Self-motivated, proactive and can work well under pressure
• Positive about changes, analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Team oriented, strong sense of responsibility and accountability
• Fluent in English
