Cpl Group in Ireland seeks an experienced technician to operate and maintain a Class III medical device production line. You will manage loading/unloading and ensure continuous automated processes, focusing on uptime and product flow.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, safety, quality compliance, and supporting equipment commissioning with the engineering team. Clean room duties and a hands-on problem-solving approach are essential to meet targets for output and continuous improvement.

Qualificações

• Level 6 qualification in electrical/mechanical discipline or equivalent with relevant automation/maintenance experience.
• Desirable: at least two years in automation, maintenance or fitter roles.

Responsabilidades

• Operate and maintain a Class III medical device production line in a fully automated environment.
• Ensure machine performance and maximise line uptime.
• Troubleshoot product defects and process issues; identify equipment faults and adjust/setup equipment.
• Clean room duties and general housekeeping associated with cleanroom production.

OBJECTIVES OF POSITION:

• Achieve the planned Production output of a Class III Medical Device dealing with the day to day running of a fully automated process.
• Responsible for machine performance and up time.
• Process support – trouble shooting of product defects, process issues, identifying equipment functions and faults, equipment adjustment and set up.
• Person will have to be a hands‑on problem solver with the ability to support machine failures and improve processes.
• Contribution to targets related to Safety, Quality, Output , Compliance and Continuous Improvement.
• Ability to Identify and escape critical errors to Support Teams.
• Contribute to project work (relating to area & process improvement including cycle-time and yield development).
• Assist engineering team with the commissioning and validation of new equipment for high volume production lines.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Production output of a Class III Medical Device dealing with the day to day running of a fully automated process (e.g. loading/unloading hoppers, loading/unloading trolleys, loading/unloading hatches & other duties as required).
• Responsible for machine performance and up time.
• Contribution to targets related to Safety, Quality, Compliance and Continuous Improvement.
• Process support – trouble shooting of product defects, process issues, identifying equipment functions and faults, equipment adjustment and set up.
• Additional cleaning responsibilities while working in the clean room

Quality:

• Assure ongoing compliance with quality and industry regulatory requirements.

Health & Safety:

• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety Legislation and Regulations.

PERSONNEL SPECIFICATIONS

ESSENTIAL:

• Level 6 qualification in electrical/mechanical discipline and/or lesser qualification with sufficient experience working in one or more of the following - automation control, tool‑making, maintenance, electrical or mechanical /fitter roles.

DESIRABLE:

• At least two year’s experience is desirable.
