Job summary

Tirlán seeks a Process Technician based in Ballyragget, Co. Kilkenny, on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

You will work with a team of Technicians and Quality staff performing sampling and testing across raw materials and processes. Your responsibilities include collecting finished product samples, carrying out tests (Phosphatase, Peroxidase, Antibiotics, etc.), conducting environmental sampling and contributing to QS compliance, with data trending and reporting duties to support quality

Qualifications

• A qualification in process / operational / technical discipline or equivalent experience.
• Aptitude for operational processes.
• Aptitude for Process Improvement and Lean.
• Technical / testing skills.
• Working on own initiative; data collection, trending and reporting.
• Teamwork & communication.

Responsibilities

• Sampling raw materials and processes.
• Co-ordinating the collection of Finished Product samples from plants.
• Testing samples from processes including Phosphatase, Peroxidase, Antibiotics, Resazurin, Added Water/TS, End of Line Defence.
• Investigative sampling & follow up.
• Environmental Sampling from processes.

Based in Ballyragget & reporting to the Quality Operations Manager, this role will involve working with a dedicated team of Technicians, Quality Managers and related staff to carry out a range of sampling and testing tasks. This role is offered on a 12-month Fixed Term basis.
