Job summary

Cpl Healthcare is seeking an experienced Process Engineer to drive process performance and productivity in a manufacturing operation in Ireland. This hands-on role centers on ensuring right-first-time products meet customer specifications while collaborating with Operations, Quality and Product Development teams.

You will own key processes, analyse data, lead root cause investigations, support MOC activities and scale-up capital projects.

Qualifications

  • 5–9 years' experience in a Process Engineering role within manufacturing, chemicals, materials, or related industries.
  • Strong operational manufacturing experience.
  • Proven track record improving process capability, yield, efficiency, and delivery performance.
  • Experience investigating and resolving customer-impacting process issues.
  • Strong root cause analysis and data-driven problem-solving skills.
  • Degree in Engineering, Science, or related discipline.
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally with Operations, Quality, and Technical teams.
  • Commercially aware and practical engineering mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Act as process owner for assigned manufacturing processes.
  • Drive improvements in process capability, yield, throughput, and consistency.
  • Ensure processes consistently meet customer specifications and performance requirements.
  • Provide technical support to operations, resolving process issues impacting quality and delivery.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity and customer outcomes.
  • Support Management of Change (MOC) activities.
  • Work closely with Quality on investigations, CAPAs, and process-related improvements.
  • Analyse process data and trends to identify and prevent issues.
  • Support process optimisation, scale-up activities, and capital investment projects.
