Job summary

Element Six is seeking a Process Engineer to support production activities, ensuring processes are under control and meet quality standards. You will own process verification, validation and improvement, and manage FMECA for assigned processes, driving risk mitigation and robustness.

You will create and maintain process specifications, control plans and documentation, monitor KPIs, and lead continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Third level qualification in Mechanical/Chemical/Electrical/Process/Production Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years relevant experience.
• Openness to new technologies and ability to follow-up independently.
• Motivated with a can-do attitude.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain process verification, validation and improvement.
• Create, sustain and improve process specifications and control plans.
• Lead process KPI monitoring, FMEA, control plans and continuous improvement actions.
• Identify and implement countermeasures to meet process performance and yield targets.
• Drive root cause analysis and implement robust solutions across production processes.
• Ensure BoMs and routes are correct and up to date.

Job Description

Job Overview

• The process engineering function plays an integral role in supporting Element Six’s production activities, ensuring processes are under control and performing at specified quality levels.
• This work includes understanding the fundamentals of processes engineering, process controls and continuous improvement.
• You will be the owner for process verification, validation and improvement.
• You will own and maintain FMECA for assigned manufacturing processes, proactively identifying, and assessing process risks and ensuring appropriate mitigation actions are implemented and verified for effectiveness. Use FMECA as a living risk-management tool to drive process robustness and capability.
• You will be responsible for creating / sustaining and improving processes -
  • Identification and control of key process performance parameters and measures.
  • Reporting, monitoring and governance of process control, Cpk.
  • Establishes process control limits and ensures process is operating within limits and product meets quality requirements.
  • Responsible for process capability and performance.
  • Identify and implement countermeasures to meet process performance and yield targets
  • Build deep dive understanding of process variables and implement root cause analysis to deliver robust solutions.
• You will be responsible for the creation, implementation and documentation of process specifications
• Create and maintain process control plans, specifications and support creation of standard work instructions.
• Takes ownership of process KPI’s /FMEA’s /control plans/ capability reports & continuous improvement plans
• Ensure BoMs and routes are correct and up to date
• You will be responsible for continuous improvement & process development
• Focal point for process change control
• Drive process improvement / cycle time reduction
• Lead PPS’, 3C’s to address process concerns, quality issues and implement countermeasures
• Proactively seek out new production technology to deliver step change advance in process capability.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years relevant experience.

• Ability to lead, communicate and appropriately influence project team members and work with cross functional teams.
