Job summary

Sigmar Recruitment seeks a Process Development Engineer II in Galway to drive hands-on development and validation of new process technologies and improve existing methods. You will partner with project leaders, R&D and operations to understand requirements and deliverables.

You will design production equipment, tooling and fixtures with internal and external teams, ensuring robust, scalable manufacturing transfer and providing mentorship to engineers and technicians.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 4 years in process development with hands-on execution.
• Strong analytical problem-solving and statistical analysis experience.
• Experience with metal processing and joining techniques is advantageous.
• Proficient in SolidWorks and/or 3D modeling.
• Demonstrated team leadership and people management abilities.
• Working knowledge of regulatory requirements and technical documentation practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop and validate new process technologies and enhance existing methods.
• Collaborate with project leaders, R&D, operations and internal teams on product needs.
• Design and develop production equipment, tooling and fixtures with internal and external partners.
• Ensure robust, scalable solutions for manufacturing transfer from system to test perspectives.
• Provide direction, coaching and development to engineers and technicians.
• Lead risk assessments and maintain technical documentation per quality systems.
