Job summary

A leading global fund services provider in Dublin seeks an experienced Private Equity Fund Accountant to join our expanding team. The role is hands-on and suitable for someone with 4+ years’ experience, aiming for supervisory duties, reviewing NAVs, and guiding junior colleagues.

You will manage NAV preparation across private equity and related structures, own deliverables on deadlines, and liaise with clients, auditors and internal teams as part of a growing platform.

Qualifications

  • Around 4+ years’ experience in fund accounting, ideally with exposure to private equity, alternatives or closed-ended funds.
  • Strong NAV preparation and review experience.
  • Good technical accounting knowledge and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of deadlines.
  • Exposure to reviewing work, training juniors or supporting team members.
  • Strong communication skills and the confidence to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Positive, hands-on approach and an interest in developing further at supervisory level.

Responsibilities

  • Preparing and reviewing NAVs for private equity and related fund structures.
  • Reviewing capital activity, including capital calls, distributions, drawdowns and investor allocations.
  • Supporting management fee, performance fee and waterfall calculations.
  • Completing and reviewing cash, position and portfolio reconciliations.
  • Liaising with clients, auditors, investment managers and internal teams.
  • Taking ownership of allocated deliverables and ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Reviewing work prepared by junior team members where required.
  • Supporting new joiners through training and day-to-day knowledge sharing.
  • Playing a hands-on role in process improvement and new business onboarding.

Job description

A leading global fund services provider is continuing to expand its Private Equity Fund Accounting team in Dublin on the back of strong new business growth.

This is a hands‑on fund accounting role suited to someone with around 4+ years’ experience who is ready to step into, or continue developing at, Supervisor level. The position would suit someone who is already comfortable preparing and reviewing NAVs, taking ownership of their own work, and beginning to support others through review, training and day‑to‑day guidance.

You will work across a portfolio of private equity, fund of funds and related alternative fund structures, supporting the delivery of accurate and timely NAVs while gaining exposure to a growing book of new business.

The role will involve:
  • Preparing and reviewing NAVs for private equity and alternative fund structures
