Barclays in Dublin seeks a Credit Specialist to support the Private Bank Ireland Banking & Credit team, delivering credit solutions to high net worth clients across Ireland and Europe. You will work with Senior Originators and cross-functional teams to progress and govern credit facilities, including renewals and client enquiries.

You will collaborate with Private Bankers, Credit Risk, Operations and Legal, ensuring governance and regulatory standards while delivering excellent client experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in private banking or credit products.
• Understanding of credit processes and risk management.
• Strong client service orientation and ability to deliver high-quality outcomes.
• Proven negotiation and stakeholder management with internal/external clients.
• Ability to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with presentations.

Responsabilités

• Support Senior Credit Originator and Private Bank Ireland team in delivering credit solutions.
• Manage day-to-day progression of new and existing credit facilities, including renewals.
• Collaborate with Private Bankers, Credit Risk, Operations and Legal to maintain governance and regulatory standards.
• Prepare client presentations, materials and guidance on product features and benefits.
• Assist in training and knowledge sharing across the team.
