Job summary

Back4good is seeking a Privacy Analyst in Greystones, Co. Wicklow, to support the DPO in ensuring GDPR compliance across the organization. You will conduct PIAs, review processing agreements, and promote privacy by design within cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities include RoPA management, DSAR handling, audits, and staff training. Ideal candidates will have 2+ years in privacy/compliance and relevant certifications such as CIPP/E or CIPM.

Qualifications

• A degree in Law, IT, or a related field.
• At least 2 years' experience in a data privacy or compliance role.
• Strong working knowledge of GDPR and national data protection laws.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and organisational skills.
• Certification such as CIPP/E, CIPM or equivalent (preferred but not essential).

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain RoPA (records of processing activities).
• Assist in managing DSARs and breach incident responses.
• Collaborate with legal, IT, and HR to ensure privacy compliance.
• Provide training and guidance to staff on data protection practices.
• Carry out regular audits and risk assessments related to personal data usage.
