Job summary

Analog Devices, Inc. is seeking a Principal Engineer in the Power Controller team in Dublin, Ireland to lead analog design and qualification of high-performance DC-DC converters.

You will collaborate with digital, layout, test, and product teams to translate system needs into reliable power solutions. The role requires 12+ years in analog IC design, strong circuit-level expertise, and a track record of delivering designs from concept through tape-out.

Qualifications

• BSEE (or equivalent) with 12+ years of relevant analog IC design experience.
• Experience in high-voltage analog circuit design and power DC-DC converters.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for analog and mixed-signal IC design of power DC-DC converter controllers.
• Define converter architectures and design critical circuits including control loops and protection.
• Lead system and transistor-level design reviews and sign-off criteria across engineering teams.
• Direct silicon bring-up, lab characterization, and production ramp support.
• Mentor analog designers and promote reusable circuits and robust design practices.
