Job summary

D&B invites an experienced Principal Full-Stack engineer to join our established engineering team working on the D&B Connect platform. You will own end-to-end delivery across the stack, driving scalable solutions for master data management and customer-facing features.

You will collaborate with product, data, and platform teams, shaping architecture, and guiding best practices in a fast-paced environment. Strong UI/backend capabilities and cloud experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 12+ years of experience building and deploying commercial software products.
• Experience with full-stack web products and web frameworks, APIs, databases, and multiple back-end languages.
• Proven experience building large-scale distributed systems.
• Experience with cloud platforms (GCP or AWS).
• Expert in Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD).
• Experience with cloud-native architectures and distributed systems.

Our MDM team is seeking an experienced Principal Full-Stack engineer, to join an established engineering team. You will work on ourD&B Connect application, a strategic self-service Master Data Management (MDM) platform that enables customers to cleanse, match, enrich, monitor, and manage their first-party data using D&B's Commercial Graph and D-U-N-S®-anchored data assets. This serves as our primary MDM customer-facing platform, accessed via web UI plus CRM, Marketing and Cloud Data Warehouse integrations with planned support for AI-driven headless access through MCP tools.

The Principal Engineer (Full Stack) is responsible for working across the full stack, building highly scalable distributed solutions that enable positive user experiences and measurable business growth. This role needs to complete the assigned projects with end-to-end ownership.

Team Overview

Design and evolve enterprise-gradeMaster Data Management (MDM) platforms powering core business entities (e.g., customers, suppliers, leads, reference data)

Address challenges in data quality, identity resolution, integration, and governance at scale

Build highly available, resilient systems that support both real-time and batch workloads across global regions

Collaborate with product, data, and platform teams to transform business needs into scalable technical solutions

• Work across the full stack, building highly scalable distributed solutions that enable positive user experiences and measurable business growth
• Partner with development and product teams to ensure product quality in a fast-paced Agile environment
• Partner with SRE team to deploy and manage data infrastructure on cloud platforms such as GCP or AWS
• Demonstrate strong customer focus and end-to-end ownership of critical applications, including leadership during customer-impacting incidents and driving post-incident improvements
• Provide technical direction for the team by being an expert in technology, system design and architecture
• Deliver POCs (Proof of Concept) to quickly identify direction and gaps in proposed architecture and feature development
• Work closely with different teams to understand and implement the requirements to design and support their workflows.
• Work on complex requirements, and issues which required in-depth analysis.
• Proactively improve quality through collaboration, automation, process improvement and innovative thinking
• Champion the adoption of AI-enabled engineering practices, accelerating software delivery, improving quality, and increasing developer productivity across teams.
• Mentor and develop engineers through technical leadership, design reviews, coaching, and knowledge sharing.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related fields
• 12+ years of experience managing and deploying commercial software products
• Experience in building products across the full stack and a firm understanding of web frameworks, APIs, databases, and multiple back-end languages.
• Proven experience building large-scale, distributed systems
• Proven experience managing solutions on GCP or AWS utilizing a broad set of the services available
• Expert in the Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery
• Experience in performance engineering and optimizations
• Experience with Cloud based architecture, cloud native solutions and infrastructure/management, developing and handling of distributed systems
• Demonstrated experience leveraging AI tools such as Copilot, Cursor, Gemini, or Claude to improve engineering productivity, software quality, automation, architecture design, troubleshooting, and delivery outcomes.
