Job summary

Infineon Technologies AG in Ireland seeks a Principal Engineer Analog Design to lead the next generation of automotive mixed-signal solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define IP specifications and drive high-performance circuits across analog and digital domains.

The role requires 8+ years in silicon product development, strong knowledge of ADCs, LDOs, PLLs, op-amps, and high-voltage circuits, plus experience with IP development, verification and DFMEA.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of industry experience in silicon product development, preferably sensors and mixed-signal.
• Experience with ADCs, Bandgaps, LDOs, oscillators, regulators, PLLs, op-amps, and high-voltage circuits.
• Understanding IP development, chip integration, testability, and mixed-signal verification.
• Fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Lead role in shaping and developing the next generation of automotive products with high-performance mixed-signal solutions.
• Collaborate with architects and system engineers to define IP and product specifications.
• Translate requirements into IP specifications for analog and digital circuits.
• Review and approve IP designs and mentor analog/digital designers and verification/test engineers.
• Support and moderate DFMEA; ensure ISO 26262 alignment; drive verification requirements.
