Qualifications

• Chartered Engineer status or working towards chartership.

Are you an experienced Utilities Engineer looking to take the lead on some of Ireland's largest infrastructure projects?

We are recruiting for a Principal Engineer – Utilities to join a leading multidisciplinary engineering consultancy delivering major transportation and infrastructure projects across Ireland. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in the coordination and design of utility infrastructure on nationally significant projects while progressing your career within a growing and highly respected engineering team.

The Role

As Principal Engineer, you will lead the coordination and delivery of utility infrastructure solutions across major transportation projects, working closely with clients, utility providers and multidisciplinary design teams.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading the coordination and design of utility infrastructure for major transportation projects.
• Managing relationships with clients, utility providers and key stakeholders.
• Leading multidisciplinary project teams to deliver projects safely, on time and within budget.
• Coordinating utility diversions, upgrades and new utility installations.
• Reviewing technical designs and ensuring quality standards are achieved.
• Identifying project risks and developing practical engineering solutions.
• Mentoring and supporting junior engineers.
• Contributing to business development and client relationship management.

About You

We're looking for an experienced engineering professional with:

• Chartered Engineer status (or working towards chartership if considered appropriate).
• Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Strong experience in utilities design and coordination.
• Experience delivering major infrastructure, transportation or utility projects.
