Rent a Recruiter in Ireland is seeking an experienced Principal Engineer – Utilities to lead coordination and design of utility infrastructure on nationally significant projects. You will work with clients, utility providers and multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-impact infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Chartered Engineer status or working towards chartership.
• Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Strong experience in utilities design and coordination.
• Experience delivering major infrastructure, transportation or utility projects.
• Knowledge of Irish utility approval processes and stakeholder coordination.
• Experience working with NEC, FIDIC or Public Works contracts.

Responsibilities

• Lead the coordination and design of utility infrastructure for major transportation projects.
• Manage relationships with clients, utility providers and key stakeholders.
• Lead multidisciplinary project teams to deliver projects safely, on time and within budget.
• Coordinate utility diversions, upgrades and new utility installations.
• Review technical designs and ensure quality standards are achieved.
• Identify project risks and develop practical engineering solutions.
• Mentor and support junior engineers.
• Contribute to business development and client relationship management.
