Join our dynamic and multi-disciplinary Transmission & Distribution team as a primary plant focused Principal Engineer. Our Transmission & Distribution business delivers HV design for electrical power projects at transmission and distribution voltage levels. The focus of this role is primary plant design for large-scale infrastructure, grid connections, and private networks at voltage levels normally between 110 kV to 400 kV. Typical projects include feasibility, optioneering, FEED, detailed design and design assurance on existing or brand-new substations and other infrastructure. The work can be varied and there will be a lot of opportunity for you to develop your career within this role, using your expertise to contribute to the success of major projects such as our EirGrid framework: AECOM appointed to EirGrid engineering design, planning and project management services framework.
