Job summary

Infineon Technologies AG is seeking a Principal Engineer in Digital Design to lead the definition and deployment of Digital IP Design processes, contribute to IP strategy, and drive AI-based innovation within a world-class R&D team in Dublin.

You will work on infrastructure, methodology, and automation for IP concept, design, and verification, while mentoring peers and shaping the future of semiconductor design practices on high-speed/low-power targets.

Qualifications

• A University Degree within STEM (Science, Technologies, Engineering and Mathematics).
• At least 9 years of relevant Digital Design experience from Digital IP design.
• Fluency in English (mandatory).

Responsibilities

• Take a leading role in defining and deploying processes and methodologies in Digital IP Design.
• Contribute to the IP strategy in Digital Design.
• Collaborate on infrastructure, methodology and automation for IP Concept, Design and Verification.
• Encourage innovation across internal and external boundaries of the IP design organization.
• Observe and act on external and internal trends.
• Coach and challenge new ideas; balance risks and opportunities to drive decisions.
• Advance traditional design practices toward AI-based solutions in Digital Design.
