Alignerr is seeking a Principal Clinical Scientist (AI Training) to shape clinical knowledge powering AI models. You bring senior trial design, regulatory insight, and high standards of scientific quality, working fully remotely on an hourly contract.

You will design and review protocols for regulator-ready datasets, audit results for regulatory relevance, and evaluate AI-generated analyses against FDA/EMA standards, with asynchronous, flexible scheduling.

What You'll Do

• Design and review clinical trial protocols used to generate high-quality, regulator-ready datasets for AI training
• Interpret and audit clinical trial results to ensure accuracy, consistency, and regulatory relevance
• Evaluate AI-generated clinical analyses for scientific soundness and alignment with FDA, EMA, or equivalent regulatory standards
• Provide expert, structured feedback that directly improves how AI models reason about clinical data, trial outcomes, and biomedical evidence
• Work independently and asynchronously — fully on your own schedule

Who You Are

• Senior-level clinical scientist with hands-on experience designing trial protocols for regulatory submission
• Deep expertise interpreting clinical data for major regulatory agencies (FDA, EMA, or equivalent)
• Strong background in clinical research methodology, biostatistics, or translational science
• Naturally rigorous and detail-oriented — you hold clinical data to the highest standards
• Clear and precise written communicator, comfortable providing structured, actionable feedback

Nice to Have

• Prior experience with data annotation, data quality frameworks, or evaluation systems
• Familiarity with AI tools or machine learning workflows in a clinical or biomedical context
• Background in drug development, medical devices, or health technology assessment
• Experience working across multiple therapeutic areas or global regulatory environments
