Job summary

Orvia Underwriting, part of The Ardonagh Group, is developing a pan-European underwriting platform. We seek a hands-on Pricing & Portfolio Management Analyst to support the CUO office with data pipelines, KPI development, and dashboarding across multiple lines of business.

You will work closely with senior actuaries and underwriters, and grow into pricing analytics as the team scales. The role offers exposure to P&C data, data validation, and dashboard delivery, with opportunities to contribute

Qualifications

• Part-qualified actuary (IFoA or equivalent) progressing with exams.
• Strong numeracy and analytical approach to work is essential.
• Experience with dashboarding/BI tools such as Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and improve data pipelines feeding portfolio management processes.
• Perform data cleaning, validation, and reconciliation with robust checks.
• Assist with development of forward-looking KPIs (price adequacy, risk-adjusted rate change).
• Manage rating tools: version control, testing, implement rate changes, digitisation support.
• Lead production of data submission packs and portfolio monitoring packs for carrier partners.
• Assist with exposure, mix analyses and claim frequency/severity investigations.
• Build and maintain dashboards/MI (Power BI or similar).
• Document processes, tools, and data definitions to scale the team.
