Job summary

Aviva plc in Dublin is seeking a Pricing Analyst to join our General Insurance Pricing team. You will help understand portfolio performance, monitor pricing trends and support decisions that benefit customers and the business.

You’ll collaborate with Pricing, Underwriting and Finance, applying analytics, pricing and modelling skills to develop insights and drive pricing improvements. A quantitative background is preferred.

Qualifications

• A background in Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Data Science, Statistics or another quantitative discipline.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and communicate insights clearly.
• Experience using Excel and exposure to analytical tools such as Python, R, SQL, Snowflake or similar.
• Experience working with data, reporting, modelling or analytics in a commercial environment.
• A proactive and curious mindset with a strong work ethic and an interest in pricing, risk or actuarial work. Progress towards actuarial qualifications is welcomed but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Support the development and delivery of pricing strategies across our Commercial Lines portfolio.
• Analyse portfolio, pricing and risk data to identify trends, deliver insights and support business decision-making.
• Produce management information, dashboards and performance reporting to help monitor business outcomes.
• Work with Pricing, Underwriting and Finance teams to support model development, pricing reviews and ongoing improvement initiatives.
• Contribute to projects that enhance pricing tools, data capabilities and portfolio management approaches.
