Job summary

Aviva plc in Dublin is seeking a Pricing Analyst to join our General Insurance Pricing team. You will help understand portfolio performance, monitor pricing trends and support decisions that benefit customers and the business.

You’ll collaborate with Pricing, Underwriting and Finance, applying analytics, pricing and modelling skills to develop insights and drive pricing improvements. A quantitative background is preferred.

Qualifications

  • A background in Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Data Science, Statistics or another quantitative discipline.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and communicate insights clearly.
  • Experience using Excel and exposure to analytical tools such as Python, R, SQL, Snowflake or similar.
  • Experience working with data, reporting, modelling or analytics in a commercial environment.
  • A proactive and curious mindset with a strong work ethic and an interest in pricing, risk or actuarial work. Progress towards actuarial qualifications is welcomed but not essential.

This is a great job for someone who loves working with data, solving problems and turning insights into actions that make a real business impact.

We're looking for a Pricing Analyst to join our General Insurance Pricing team in Dublin. You'll play an important role in helping us understand portfolio performance, monitor pricing trends and support decisions that deliver great outcomes for our customers and the business.

You'll work closely with colleagues across Pricing, Underwriting and Finance, gaining exposure to commercial insurance products while developing your skills in analytics, pricing and modelling. Whether your background is in insurance, financial services, data analytics or another quantitative field, this role offers the opportunity to learn, grow and make a difference.

Duties & Responsibilities

The expected pay range for this role will fall between €36,000 and €45,000 and salary offered willcommensurate with candidate'slevel of skills and experience.
