Job summary

Aviva is seeking a Commercial Motor Product Specialist to shape, develop and deliver the Commercial Motor proposition within the Commercial Lines business. You will support product and pricing changes, regulatory updates and key transformation initiatives to keep Aviva competitive and compliant.

You’ll work closely with underwriting teams, brokers and internal partners, playing a central role in programmes like Core Modernisation, Fast Trade and broader Commercial Motor enhancements.

Qualifications

• Strong Motor underwriting experience and ability to handle complex referrals.
• Product or technical underwriting experience is desirable.
• Proven ability to support system or product change initiatives.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret complex data clearly.

This is an exciting opportunity to join Aviva’s Commercial Motor Product team

We’re looking for a Commercial Motor Product Specialist to join our Commercial Lines business and help shape, develop and deliver our Commercial Motor proposition. You’ll support product and pricing changes, regulatory updates, and key transformation initiatives that ensure Aviva remains competitive, compliant and easy to trade with.

You’ll play a central role in programmes such as Core Modernisation, Commercial Motor Fast Trade, and enhancements to our wider Commercial Motor offering. Working closely with underwriting teams, brokers and internal partners, you’ll help ensure our products, processes and governance remain robust, consistent and aligned to customer and broker needs.

You’ll also act as a technical specialist, supporting complex underwriting referrals and enabling informed, confident decision‑making across the Commercial Lines business.

What you will be doing:

• Support the development and roll‑out of Commercial Motor underwriting rules, documentation and product enhancements.

Skills and experience we are looking for:

• Strong Motor underwriting experience, with confidence handling complex referrals.
• Experience in a Product or technical underwriting role (desirable).
• Proven ability to support system or product change initiative
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data clearly.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑engagement skills.
• High attention to detail and an adaptable, solutions‑focused mindset.

The expected pay range for this role will fall between €38,000 and €49,000 and salary offered will commensurate with candidate's level of skills and experience.
