Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Engineering or Aerospace.
• 2+ years of pricing analysis experience in aircraft lessor/airline or related field.
• Strong analytical and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide pricing and underwriting analysis for aircraft trading and leasing transactions.
• Drive information flow to executives and help close transactions commercially and timely.
• Create financial models for non-standard transactions.
• Support projects with research, data manipulation and presentations.
• Conduct market and competitor research on aircraft leasing opportunities.
• Maintain knowledge of customer business models and aircraft requirements.
• Engage with management in pricing discussions on airline credits.
• Provide underwriting support to initiatives and management decisions.
• Populate slides and sections in corporate memos and presentations.

Job Description

The pricing position plays a vital role by driving informed decision making within key business areas. The role is focused on providing pricing analysis of aircraft lease and sale transactions to ensure strategic and tactical decision-making, general market information and analytics and specific campaign presentations and pitches. The successful candidate will possess strong analytical and communication skills and be self-motivated to work in a dynamic, exciting and challenging environment.

Responsibilities

• Through the deal approval process, provide timely pricing and underwriting analysis of transactions including aircraft trading, leasing transactions
• Ensure an accurate flow of information to and from front line executives and assist in driving transactions to a commercially informed conclusion in a timely fashion
• Create financial models to analyse non-standard transactions.
• Provide project support to include research, data manipulation / analysis and presentation production
• Conduct market and competitor research in the evaluation of potential aircraft leasing opportunities
• Maintain a solid understanding of the underlying business models and aircraft requirements of customers and potential customers.
• Maintain ongoing contact with customers, competitors and suppliers to ensure collective knowledge and information on airlines is current, including business plans, financial statements, market analysis and industry reports.
• Engage with management in the debate and pricing analysis of airline credits.
• Provide underwriting support to projects, initiatives, and management decisions
• Populate slides, charts, or sections in corporate memos and presentations

Educational/ experience

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Finance, Business, Engineering, or Aerospace
• 2+ years’ experience in a similar pricing analysis position within an aircraft lessor or airline, or in either management, consulting, or banking with a focus on these industries is essential.
