Gallagher's Quality Meats of Ballybofey invites an experienced butcher to join our family business that prides itself on traditional meat preparation and locally sourced produce. You will bone, portion and prepare beef, lamb, pork and poultry, support the retail counter, maintain HACCP standards and accurate production records, and help keep the shop visually appealing throughout the day.

Applicants should have English language proficiency and the legal right to work in Ireland; prior experience

Qualifications

• Must have the legal right to work in Ireland.
• Strong knowledge of HACCP and food safety practices.

Responsabilités

• Prepare, bone, trim and portion beef, lamb, pork and poultry to company standards.
• Produce a range of retail cuts, joints, steaks and other premium meat products.
• Prepare value-added products such as burgers, sausages and other specialty items as required.
• Rotate stock and maintain FIFO to minimise waste.
• Support the retail counter and ensure displays are well stocked and visually appealing.
