Irish Gifted Academy is seeking a dedicated PreK Teacher to support student success and growth in academic and interpersonal skills by implementing district approved curriculum, recording student progress, and creating a safe, engaging learning environment.

You will develop lessons, assess learning, communicate with parents and administration, coordinate with staff, maintain records, and encourage classroom behavior that aligns with school policies while supporting individual needs and goals.

Qualifikationen

• Certification/License: GaPSC Early Childhood Education (P-5)
• Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education
• Master's degree preferred

Aufgaben

• Develops and administers curriculum per district goals and objectives
• Promotes a safe classroom conducive to individualized and small group instruction
• Develops lesson plans and materials and translates plans into learning experiences
• Assesses student learning and adjusts methods for individual needs
• Attends professional development events and stays current in education
• Maintains records, grading, and reporting as required by district procedures
• Encourages parental involvement and communicates with families
• Ensures classroom conduct aligns with school policies
• Coordinates with elementary staff to evaluate curriculum and participates in meetings
• Selects books and supplies and maintains inventory
• Supervises students during activities outside the classroom
