Job summary

iiM GmbH in Ireland seeks a Production Operator to assemble products and subassemblies, perform in-process testing, and maintain rigorous traceability. You will use approved work instructions, read engineering drawings, and follow BOMs and process parameters to meet daily quality targets.

Qualifications

• Ability to interpret work instructions, drawings and BOMs accurately.
• Experience with hand tools and basic measuring equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and product traceability.
• Knowledge of ESD, cleanroom standards and 5S principles.
• Digital literacy and basic computer skills required.
• Experience with PIQ/ERP/MRP shop-floor systems is an advantage.
• Ability to work in a structured environment with quality and safety standards.
• Strong teamwork and commitment to continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Assemble products and subassemblies using instructions, BOMs and tools.
• Perform in-process inspection and basic testing; report deviations.
• Record labour, materials and test results in production records.
• Set up and use production tools; conduct routine checks.
• Adhere to health & safety, ESD, cleanroom and environmental procedures.
• Follow daily production plan and communicate issues promptly.
• Maintain organised workstation and ensure traceability of components.
• Support cross-training and team problem-solving.
