Job summary

Sanofi Waterford invites applications for a Pre Filled Syringe Process Engineering Intern. In this on-site, full-time role you will support manufacturing operations at our state-of-the-art biopharma facility and gain hands-on experience in process engineering.

You will work alongside experienced engineers on deviations, investigations, CAPAs, continuous improvement, and new product introductions, contributing to process optimization and data analysis to help assure a reliable medicines supply

Qualifications

• Currently in 2nd or 3rd year of engineering studies.
• Pursuing a degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, or related Engineering field.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Proactive problem solving and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Support process engineering activities across Pre Filled Syringe Manufacturing operations.
• Assist in identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency, quality, and reliability.
• Participate in projects related to new product introductions, capacity expansion, and component implementation.
• Collect, analyse, and interpret manufacturing data to support process performance and decision-making.
• Help investigate process issues, support problem-solving activities, and contribute to corrective actions.
• Prepare technical documentation, reports, protocols, and presentations in line with quality and compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the delivery of key manufacturing performance targets.

About you

To excel in this role you will need:

• To be a 2nd or 3rd year student working towards a degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, or a related Engineering discipline.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• A proactive approach to problem solving and continuous improvement.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
