Job summary

Sanofi in Waterford, Ireland, offers a Biologics Operations Specialist Intern position within its state‑of‑the‑art manufacturing facility. You will gain hands‑on experience in monoclonal antibody production, supporting sterile processing, formulation and filling, and contributing to continuous improvement during a 6–8 month, full‑time on‑site internship starting January 2027.

• Support projects focused on operational efficiency and cost improvement.
• Collect, analyze, and present manufacturing data and performance metrics.
• Collaborate with Operations, Quality, Engineering, and Maintenance teams.
• Support investigations, corrective actions, and process improvement projects.

To excel in this role you will need:

• To be currently pursuing a degree in Biotechnology, Engineering, Pharmaceutical Science, Life Sciences, or a related discipline.
• Understanding of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) principles.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to analyze data and communicate findings clearly.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn in a regulated manufacturing environment.
