• Salary: The gross salary applicable to the post is €60,250 p.a. (post doctoral researcher PD2 point 4) rate effective 01/06/2026.

South East Technological University (SETU) is a participating institution in Phase II of the PPI Ignite Network, a national initiative designed to strengthen Public and Patient Involvement (PPI) in health and social care research across the island of Ireland.

The PPI Ignite Programme Manager will lead the PPI Ignite programme at SETU. Working in close partnership with the All-Island Lead (based in RCSI), the Programme Manager will combine strategic thinking with hands-on programme oversight at the local level. The role involves responsibility for delivery of SETU localised initiatives, oversight of governance and reporting processes to the national lead, and support for high quality and inclusive PPI practice across all SETU Campuses.

The post holder will be responsible for day-to-day programme implementation at institutional level, working closely with the PPI Ignite Principal Investigator and the national PPI Ignite Network.
