Job summary

Ryanair are currently recruiting for a Powerplant Engineer to join Europe’s Largest Airline Group. The role is desk based and based in our Engineering Office in Dublin.

The successful candidate will report to the Head of Powerplant/Deputy Powerplant Manager and work within Engineering Technical Services supporting the Ryanair Group fleet of Boeing 737 and Airbus A320. This role requires liaising with OEMs, reviewing engine workscope, and ensuring on-time engine maintenance.

Qualifications

  • Engineering degree or EASA Part 66 license is required.
  • Minimum 1 year experience in a Technical Services / CAMO role or Engine MRO.
  • Knowledge of CFM56 and LEAP engines is advantageous.
  • Understanding of EASA Part M, Part CAMO and Part 145 regulations.
  • Strong communication and ability to write or review technical instructions.
  • Proficient with MS Office tools and able to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Liaise with OEMs (CFM, Pratt & Whitney, Boeing, Airbus, Honeywell) to resolve technical issues.
  • Review engine workscope and repair specifications.
  • Coordinate with MRO partners to ensure on-time engine repairs/overhauls.
  • Coordinate engine removal schedules with relevant stakeholders.
  • Review Airworthiness Directives, Service Bulletins and other technical docs.
  • Identify and implement reliability solutions with Reliability Dept and OEMs.
  • Deliver technical reports and presentations.
