Job summary

Centrica Power seeks a seasoned Project Delivery Director to lead two major power generation projects in Ireland through commissioning, start-up, handover and close-out. You will manage a multidisciplinary team, ensure safety, quality and regulatory compliance, and deliver on budget and schedule.

Experience with EPC/OEM contracts, change control and warranty management is essential. You will report to senior sponsors and collaborate with grid operators and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Senior leadership experience delivering major energy infrastructure projects.
• Extensive experience in power generation commissioning and start-up.
• Strong technical knowledge of thermal generation assets and balance of plant.
• Excellent stakeholder management and contract oversight.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for Profile Park and Athlone projects through commissioning and handover.
• Lead the integrated commissioning and start-up programme, including testing and safety reviews.
• Direct multidisciplinary teams across Engineering, Construction, Commissioning, HSE, Quality, and Commercial.
• Oversee technical resolution across generation equipment, grid interfaces and BOS.
• Maintain governance across budget, risk, quality, HSE and regulatory compliance.
