Job summary

Accenture PLC in Ireland is seeking a Power Platform Tech Lead to blend hands-on development with technical leadership, shaping secure, scalable enterprise apps using Power Apps, Power Automate and Dataverse.

You will define architecture, lead design reviews and mentoring, and ensure solutions meet governance, security and accessibility standards while guiding multi-disciplinary teams from design through production. This role offers strategic ownership with deep tech focus.

• Lead code reviews, testing, debugging and performance optimisation.
• Own architecture and design decisions, managing technical risk and alignment with enterprise standards.
• Implement engineering practices across managed solutions, automated deployment pipelines and ALM.
• Ensure standards for security, DLP, accessibility, supportability and governance are met.
• Mentor developers and collaborate with architects, product owners and analysts from design to production.

We’re looking for a Power Platform Tech Lead to combine hands-on development with technical leadership, building secure, scalable enterprise applications while helping a multidisciplinary team deliver at its best.

You’ll work across Power Apps, Power Automate and Dataverse, taking ownership of technical design and delivery while setting the standards for quality, security, accessibility and maintainability.

This is a role for someone who wants to stay close to the technology while having a bigger influence on how solutions are designed, engineered and delivered.

What you’ll be doing:

• Design and build model-driven and canvas Power Apps, Dataverse solutions, cloud flows and enterprise integrations.
• Translate business requirements into technical designs, estimates and actionable development plans.
• Build reusable components and extend the platform using custom connectors, plug‑ins or PCF controls when out-of-the-box capabilities aren’t enough.
• Lead code reviews, testing, debugging and performance optimisation, helping the team overcome complex technical challenges.
• Own key architecture and design decisions, managing technical risk and ensuring solutions align with wider enterprise standards.
• Implement strong engineering practices across managed solutions, automated deployment pipelines and ALM.
• Ensure solutions meet the right standards for security, DLP, accessibility, supportability and Power Platform governance.
• Mentor developers and work closely with architects, product owners and analysts to take solutions successfully from design through to production.

What we’re looking for:

You’ll bring:

• Extensive hands-on delivery experience across Power Apps, Power Automate and Dataverse.
• Experience applying ALM, automated deployment and DevSecOps practices using Azure DevOps or GitHub.
• The ability to make sound technical and architectural decisions while keeping solutions secure, scalable and maintainable.
• Proven experience providing technical leadership, whether through mentoring, design reviews, code reviews or owning complex areas of delivery.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical decisions clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
