Job summary

Spanish Point Technologies is seeking a Power Platform Functional Consultant to solve business problems using Microsoft's low-code platform. You will work closely with customers to understand processes and translate needs into scalable solutions, leading delivery across Power Platform.

The role emphasizes functional design, collaboration with architects and developers, and adoption of Copilot AI features. Hands-on experience with Power Apps, Dataverse, Power Automate, and Power Pages is valued.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience with Microsoft Power Platform and/or Dynamics 365.
• Experience mapping business processes to technical solutions.
• Proven ability to lead functional design and customer conversations.
• Good understanding of Power Platform security, environments, and ALM concepts.
• Basic programming skills (ability to write and understand simple code).
• Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• A pragmatic, delivery focused mindset with a strong customer orientation.

Responsibilities

• Lead functional discovery workshops and requirements gathering sessions with customer stakeholders.
• Translating business requirements into scalable Power Platform solution designs.
• Configure and build model driven apps using Dataverse.
• Design and optimise Power Automate cloud flows for business processes and integrations.
• Contribute to the design of Power Pages and external facing experiences.
• Support adoption of Copilot experiences and AI assisted features where appropriate.
• Collaborate closely with architects and developers to ensure best practice solutions.
• Support testing, user acceptance, training, and golive activities.
• Act as a trusted advisor to customers on Power Platform capabilities and roadmap.

Job description

We are looking for a Power Platform Functional Consultant who is passionate about solving real business problems using Microsoft’s low code platform. This role is strongly functional first: you will work closely with customers to understand their processes, translate needs into well-designed solutions, and lead delivery across the Power Platform.

You will be part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team of architects, consultants, and developers, delivering modern business applications using Power Apps, Dataverse, Power Automate, Power Pages, Copilot Studio, and Power BI.

While this role does not require you to be a deep software engineer, an appreciation of extensibility and light coding capabilities is beneficial and will help you collaborate effectively with technical specialists.

What You\'ll Do

Core Skills & Experience (Essential)

Advantageous / Nice to Have

These skills are not mandatory, but would be considered a strong advantage and enable deeper collaboration across delivery teams:

• Basic to intermediate experience with C# or .NET (e.g. understanding plugins or extensibility patterns).
• Exposure to custom connectors, plugins, or PCF controls.
• Experience with Power Platform ALM, Git, or Azure DevOps pipelines.
• Understanding of Azure services such as Azure Functions, Logic Apps, or Service Bus.
• Experience supporting or collaborating on more complex enterprise integrations.
