Job summary

Country Crest Ltd in Ireland is seeking a detail-oriented Machine Operator for our Potato Packhouse, responsible for operating packaging machinery and maintaining lines in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.

You will perform routine checks, address downtime, monitor quality to meet FSAI/HACCP standards, and collaborate with production and maintenance teams to keep shifts running safely and efficiently.

Qualifications

• Prior experience operating packaging machinery in food manufacturing preferred.
• Experience in HACCP, ISO or BRC food safety guidelines is advantageous.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts and weekends as required.

Responsibilities

• Operate packaging machines for potatoes, ensuring HACCP compliance.
• Perform routine checks and maintenance to keep lines running smoothly and safely.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues to minimise downtime.
• Monitor product quality per Irish food safety standards (FSAI).
• Document machine performance and communicate any delays or maintenance needs.
