Job summary

Munster Technological University (MTU) Cork Campus invites applications for Post Doctoral Researchers in the inTRUSTED Living Lab. The role focuses on distributed policy frameworks to enhance trust and security across federated data spaces with collaboration across academia, industry and policymakers.

The successful candidate will contribute to research, policy development, and dissemination, mentoring, and training activities within the TU-RISE funded project.

Qualifications

• Hold a PhD in a relevant discipline at the contract start date.
• Relevant research experience in data spaces, policy governance or data sharing.
• Fluency in English with excellent written and oral presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and contribute to a research unit team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct cutting-edge research in data spaces and policy management.
• Develop, test, and refine trust protocols for data protection and security.
• Publish findings in top-tier journals and conferences.
• Lead or participate in workshops and interdisciplinary discussions.
• Mentor PhD students and research assistants.
