University College Dublin invites applications for a Postdoctoral Research position (PD level 1) in the ECM lab led by Associate Professor Seungkuk Ahn. The project DESIGN-ECM investigates species- and sex-related differences in ECM and cells to design better 3D tissue models.

You will work with two PhD students over the first 36 months of a 60-month ERC grant, focusing on ECM scaffold engineering, in vitro validation, and ovarian organoid modelling.

Qualifications

• PhD in Bioengineering, Tissue Engineering, Mechanobiology, or Organoids.
• Excellent technical laboratory skills in ECM engineering, Mechanobiology, and Organoids.
• Evidence of research activity and scholarly output.

Responsabilités

• Engineer and characterize 3D ECM scaffolds for study.
• Perform in vitro cell validations.
• Develop 3D ovarian organoid models.
