JOB SYNOPSIS We are seeking a postdoctoral researcher with the technical expertise to undertake experimental valorisation of pre-fractionated fast pyrolysis bio-oil, aiming to develop renewable alternatives for asphalt binders and energy applications. They will conduct proof of concept studies using a pre-fractionated fast pyrolysis bio-oil. University of Limerick will work Jointly with an industrial partner on characterisation and upgrading these fractions and testing their application in asphalt and heat systems.
Contract Type: Specific Purpose
Salary Scale: Level 1 €47,273 - €53,925 p.a. pro rata
Level 2 €55,399 - €60,250 p.a. pro rata (maximum starting salary €55,399 p.a. pro rata)
