Job summary

University College Cork (UCC) invites applications for two post-doctoral researchers to join a technology development project with Danalto and Qorvo. The role focuses on agentic AI and digital twins for Ultra-Wideband RF sensing, localisation and vital sign recognition.

Positions are based on UCC campus with a November 1, 2026 start date. Applicants should hold a PhD in Computer Science/Engineering (or related) with a strong publication record and experience in AI, deep learning or decision

Qualifications

• PhD in Computer Science/Engineering or closely related discipline.
• Good track record of original research publications.
• Experience in artificial intelligence, deep learning or decision support applied to RF sensing, wireless communications and signal processing.

Responsibilities

• Work on AI, RF sensing and wireless communications topics.
• Collaborate with industry partners and UCC researchers.
• Demonstrate teamwork and project management within a multidisciplinary team.
