Job summary

University College Cork invites a researcher to join a 21-month fixed-term project focused on agentic AI and digital twins for UWB RF sensing, localisation and vital sign recognition. The successful candidate will work with a team of researchers across AI, RF sensing, and network architecture, located at UCC campus.

Applicants should hold a Bachelor degree in Computer Science/Engineering with strong theoretical/technical credentials; experience in OSS integration, embedded systems, or mobile

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science/Engineering or Electronic Engineering.
• Experience with open-source software integration, embedded systems, or mobile apps.
• Background in radio localisation or mobile healthcare applications may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Research on agentic AI and UWB RF sensing topics.
• Collaborate with industry partners outside UCC.
• Work within a multidisciplinary research team and campus setting.
