Job summary

Intact Insurance is seeking a Portfolio Cyber Security Technical Consultant to provide hands-on security consultancy across a broad portfolio of change, technology and business initiatives. The role ensures security is embedded across delivery and aligned to internal policies and regulatory expectations.

Reporting to the Portfolio Security Manager, you will review designs, data flows and supplier proposals from a security perspective, and support governance and reporting on security across

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of security architecture and secure design principles across business applications, infrastructure, networks and cloud-based services.
• Broad practical knowledge of application, infrastructure and cloud security concepts, including identity and access management, encryption, logging and monitoring, vulnerability management and data protection controls.
• Experience embedding security into change delivery frameworks such as Agile, Waterfall and hybrid delivery models across complex portfolios.
• Ability to provide technical review, challenge and advice on solution architectures, data flows, integration patterns and supplier proposals from a security perspective.

Responsibilities

The Portfolio Security Technical Consultant is a role within Security Strategy, Architecture & Portfolio Security, reporting to the Portfolio Security Manager. The role provides hands-on security consultancy across a broad portfolio of change, technology and business initiatives. ensuring security is embedded effectively across delivery and aligned to internal policies, standards and regulatory expectations. It requires someone with a good depth of technical cyber security knowledge across multiple domains, with the ability to apply that knowledge pragmatically across varied technologies, solutions and delivery contexts.

You’ll make an impact by:
