Job summary

Chadwicks Group in Monaghan is seeking a Plumbing & Heating Supervisor to lead the branch's Plumbing and Heating department, drive sales, manage stock and ensure efficient daily operations. You will develop new business, build customer relationships and maintain Health & Safety compliance, while working with Senior Management on strategy and development.

The role requires substantial experience in the plumbing heating industry, strong commercial acumen and excellent communication and leadership

Qualifications

• Substantial experience in Plumbing and Heating industry.
• Strong commercial and strategic acumen.
• Ability to reach and exceed sales targets.
• Health and Safety compliance experience.
• People management experience desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of Plumbing and Heating department: buying, stock, margins.
• Achieve sales and margin targets.
• Ensure Health & Safety regulations are adhered to.
• Develop Plumbing and Heating department strategy with Senior Management.
• Build and nurture customer relationships.
• Maintain high customer service standards and handle customers efficiently.
• Ensure staff are trained to handle customers.
• Oversee stock levels and re-ordering of product lines.
• Support development and implementation of the branch business plan.
• Maintain orderly, safe working environment per guidelines.
• Safeguard company property against theft.
• Collaborate with Branch Manager and team for efficient operations.
