This is a field-based role involving inspections, routine maintenance, drainage repairs and responding to emergency call-outs.ResponsibilitiesExamine drawings and technical specifications to determine system layoutMeasure and cut required lengths of copper, steel, iron, aluminium and plastic piping using hand and machine toolsInstall and maintain fittings including storage tanks, toilets, baths, taps, valves, boilers, radiators and drainage systemsAttach fittings and join piping by welding, soldering, cementing, fusing, screwing or other approved methodsTest completed installations for leaks and carry out necessary adjustmentsRepair burst pipes, mechanical faults and replace faulty taps, washers, valves and pipe sectionsCarry out drain inspections and clear blocked drains using jetting and vacuum equipmentRespond to emergency call-outs and routine maintenance requestsEnsure compliance with all health and safety regulationsComplete service documentation and maintain accurate recordsJob Requirements:1-2 years’ of relevant experience as a Plumber is preferred but not essential.
