Job summary

TMECH Heating & Plumbing Ltd in Ballymakeera, Co. Cork, is seeking a Plumbing Technician to install, maintain and repair plumbing and heating systems for domestic and commercial projects.

The role requires reading technical drawings, fault-finding and a diligent commitment to safety and quality, with a 39-hour week and a salary of €36,605 per annum.

Experience and driving licence desirable; you will work in a team and report to supervisors, ensuring work complies with Irish building regulations.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in plumbing installation, maintenance or repair.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and repair plumbing and heating systems.
• Assemble, fit and test pipework, valves, fittings, sanitary ware and associated plumbing equipment.
• Inspect plumbing and heating systems, diagnose faults and carry out repairs and routine maintenance.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, specifications and work instructions.
• Test completed installations to ensure they operate safely and efficiently.
• Use plumbing tools and equipment safely and effectively to complete assigned work.
• Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with Irish building regulations, health and safety requirements and company procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of completed work and communicate progress to supervisors and colleagues.
