Job summary

MWeds Ltd in Ireland is seeking a Playgroup Leader to supervise children's play and to support development across physical, social and emotional domains, while coordinating a diverse programme of activities.

The role requires at least two years of service experience, a relevant childcare certificate, excellent communication and empathy, strong attention to detail, and a willingness to liaise with parents, carers and colleagues while maintaining accurate records and compliance with childcare

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of service experience and a field-related certificate.
• Excellent communication, caring and empathetic nature; strong attention to detail.
• Second language would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Supervise children's play and support development.

Job Title: Playgroup Leader

Annual Salary: €34,882k per annum

Weekly Hours: 40 hours per week

Key Responsibilities:

Supervising children's play and encouraging physical, social and emotional development.

Providing opportunities for different types of play and preparing materials for a wide range of children's activities.

Encouraging children's independence, self-confidence and social interaction.

Organising and supervising children on excursions.

Organising and supervising children's activities in accordance with Childcare Regulations, cleaning up the play area and equipment after use, liaising with parents, carers and colleagues and keeping all appropriate records.

Requirements:

Candidates must have at least 2 years of service experience; a certificate related to the field;

Excellent communication skills; caring and empathetic nature; strong attention to detail; a second language would be an advantage.
