Job summary

Morgan McKinley, based in Dublin, seeks an ambitious Platform Applications Product Manager to join its growing product function. The role offers progression from product ownership to greater platform responsibility within a cloud-native SaaS environment.

You will work with a global product team, initially supporting the platform roadmap and then taking on more product ownership and strategic influence. Travel to the UK is occasional.

Qualifications

• Approximately 7-10 years' professional experience, including experience in Product Ownership or Product Management.
• Background within financial services, financial technology, banking, capital markets or asset servicing.
• Experience working with technology platforms, ideally within a SaaS or cloud-based environment.
• Strong understanding of product development, backlog management and Agile delivery methodologies.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience engaging directly with clients.
• Ability to work closely with technical teams and understand the wider implications of product and architectural decisions.
• A proactive, commercially minded approach to product development, with the confidence to challenge ideas and influence direction.

Responsibilities

• Support the development and execution of the platform product roadmap, working closely with senior product leadership.
• Own and prioritise product backlogs, translating business opportunities into scalable platform capabilities.
• Work collaboratively with engineering, architecture and wider product teams to develop and enhance platform functionality.
• Engage directly with financial services clients, understanding their needs while proactively shaping product solutions.
• Support the development of core platform capabilities, including data management, reconciliation and integration.
• Contribute to continuous product improvement within a modern SaaS and CI/CD environment.
• Ensure product enhancements align with wider platform architecture, commercial objectives and client requirements.
