Job summary

Arcona Developments requires multiple External Wall Plasterers for residential developments in the southeast of Ireland. Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Apply external render systems including sand/cement, monocouche, acrylic and silicone-based finishes; prepare and clean surfaces.
• Install base coats and mesh systems; ensure high-quality finishes across facade elements.
• Coordinate with site management and other trades to maintain workflow and meet programme deadlines.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment with PPE and height precautions.

Arcona Developments requires multiple Plasterer roles for their premises at Crowsgrove, Kildavin, Enniscorthy, Wexford, Y21 XXXX.The salary offered is €36,605 (18.05/hr) based on a 39-hour week.Salary will increase proportionately if additional hours are required.Salary offered shall be based on relevant experience and qualifications.Job Description - Arcona Developments is recruiting four experienced External Wall Plasterers (Render Specialists) to join site teams on residential developments in the southeast of Ireland. The role involves applying a variety of external render systems to achieve high-quality facade finishes in line with project specifications, manufacturer instructions and health and safety requirements. Successful candidates will work under the direction of the Site Foreman, coordinate with other trades, prepare substrates, install base coats and mesh systems, and ensure work is completed to programme and quality standards. Relevant trade qualification is preferred but strong demonstrable experience will be considered. Required safety certifications include Manual Handling and Safe Pass, with MEWP / Working at Heights desirable.Apply a range of external render systems including sand and cement, monocouche, acrylic and silicone-based finishes; prepare and clean surfaces, apply bonding agents and install base coats and mesh systems; achieve consistent, high-quality finishes across all facade elements; follow manufacturer specifications and technical details for each system; coordinate with site management and other trades to maintain workflow and meet programme deadlines; maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment; identify, report and rectify issues with substrates, detailing or workmanship; operate or collaborate with machine-applied plaster where relevant; comply with site health and safety requirements and use appropriate PPE and working-at-height precautions.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

Required Qualifications - Proven experience as an external wall plasterer/renderer on residential or commercial projects. Relevant trade qualification preferred but not essential for candidates with strong practical experience. Mandatory: Manual Handling and Safe Pass certification. Desirable: MEWP / Working at Heights certification and experience with machine-applied plaster systems. Strong knowledge of modern rendering systems and experience working with external insulation systems such as ICF. Ability to read construction drawings and specifications, strong attention to detail, good spoken and written English, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Demonstrable track record of delivering high-quality finishes and working to project programmes.
